In the period from 4.3. until 5.3.2020. in Timisoara (Romania) within the framework of the KEY project, seminars were held on Standards for accreditation of professional development programs, extracurricular activities and educational policies in Romania.

At the meeting, members of the consortium from Romania presented their experiences in the work and education of educators, as well as the standards for program accreditation in Romania.
In addition to case studies for early education and extracurricular activities, examples of good practice in kindergartens in Timisoara were also presented.

After the workshops, the second day of the meeting was dedicated to the legal and financial aspects of the project.

“KEEP EDUCATING YOURSELF” FOR EDUCATORS IN KRUSEVAC

On November 28 and 29, 2019, a working meeting was held in Kruševac as part of the “EDUCATE YOURSELF” project.
The beginning of the workshop was marked by a discussion about the publication Analysis of continuous professional development of educators in Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia and Great Britain, which is based on the materials of an exhaustive comparative analysis of Continuous professional development Development (CPR) of educators in partner countries, conducted in in the previous period, it was edited, prepared and printed by a team from the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, University of Montenegro (UCG). All those present agreed that the material presented was of high quality and content, and an agreement was reached to deliver a certain number of copies of the publication to all partner institutions.

After the discussion on the content of the future programs of the Centers, all partners agreed that the content should be based on the principles of the new Foundation of preschool education and education of the “Years of Ascension” program, the implementation of which is ongoing.

At the meeting, the preliminary results of the survey for educators, which was previously conducted in Serbia and Montenegro, ending on October 25, 2019, in cooperation with the Institute for Professional Development and associations of educators in both countries, were presented. The deadline for completing the survey was subsequently extended until November 10, so that the final results, which will be analyzed and presented by partners from Slovenia (Faculty of Pedagogy in Maribor), are expected in the following period.

As part of the KEEP EDUCATING YOURSELF – /KEY/ project, funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, on October 24 and 25, 2019, a working meeting was held at the Teacher Education College in Novi Sad.

The publication Analysis of continuing professional development of preschool teachers in Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia and Great Britain was presented at the meeting.

It was stated that it is necessary to form teams for recommendations on what should be systemically changed at the national level, and these recommendations should stem from the practical experiences of educators and the conclusions reached based on the analysis.

The Quality Control Guide was presented at the meeting – Serbian and English versions, as well as the results of the quality management evaluation of the project.

In addition to these activities, it was agreed to form advisory boards at the local and national level, each institution should give its proposals for representatives of the advisory boards at the local and national level.

Planned activities were presented at the meeting, as well as meeting dates in the coming period.

On September 19 and 20, 2019, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić. the second workshop dedicated to the development of centers for lifelong learning and training of teachers and educators within work package 2, as well as the meeting of the project’s Board of Directors with the presence of the coordinators of partner institutions of the KEY project, was carried out.
According to the plan, both events were attended by representatives of higher education institutions dealing with preschool education and training from Serbia (Novi Sad, Vršac, Kruševac and Pirot), WEBIN from Belgrade, a partner institution from Hungary (Eotvos Jozef Foiskola, Baja, HU) and partner institutions in a project from Montenegro (University of Montenegro – Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of Education and JPU “Ljubica Popović” – Podgorica).

The coordination meeting was attended by representatives of the national ERASMUS+ office in Montenegro, who positively evaluated the activity so far in the implementation of the KEY project.

In Sremska Mitovica, in the premises of the College of Vocational Studies for Educators and Business Informatics – SIRMIUM, in the period from June 20 to 21, 2019, a working meeting was held in the framework of the “Keep Educating Yourself” – KEY project financed by the funds of the Erasmus+ program, which was attended by representatives of colleges from Novi Sad, Kruševac, Sremska Mitrovica, Pirot and Vršac, University of Montenegro and representatives of Eötvös József Főiskola, Baja, Hungary.

Within work package 1, the methodology of researching the needs of practitioners was considered as a prerequisite for the creation and accreditation of the professional training program, and an agreement was reached regarding the preparation and publication of the publication.

Within work package 6, a meeting of the Quality Team was held, which was constituted on this occasion. The method of work was established, the previous activities, results, events and management of the project were considered, as well as the methods of their evaluation and ensuring the quality of the project.

Within work packages 7 and 8, a joint meeting of the Management Board and the Coordinator Team was held. The handbook on project management, finances and quality was presented, the constitution of the Advisory Board, the issue of equipment procurement was discussed.

Within work package 2, the expert opinion of the consortium on ECEC CPD, as well as the possibilities of developing centers for professional development, was presented. The College of Vocational Studies for Teacher Education in Vršac presented a proposal for the Rulebook on the work of the Center for Professional Development, and an agreement was reached that in the fall, higher education institutions at the sessions of the Teaching and Professional Council will make a decision on the establishment of Centers for Professional Development.

In the period from 14.05. until 15.05.2019. in Vršac, as part of the KEY project, they held seminars on the creation of centers for professional development (vision, mission, basic principles). At the seminar, it was concluded that the idea/initiative of establishing centers for lifelong learning should be considered, the target groups of which would be more numerous and diverse (educators, professional associates and other employees in education, parents, preschool and other children, young people, students, graduate students ), and which would offer a whole range of forms of lifelong learning (in addition to accredited seminars for professional development of educators, which will also be accredited by each higher education institution from Serbia and Montenegro during the 3 years of project implementation);

In addition to the above-mentioned topics, working meetings of project partners were held where legal and financial aspects of the project were discussed.
