KEY: a historical project record

Keep Educating Yourself connected preschool teacher education with continuing professional development. This is a new, source-based account of that earlier project, not the former project office.

Purpose and scope

The 2022 project publication describes a partnership of 17 institutions, coordinated by the Preschool Teachers Training College in Novi Sad. It identifies six participating countries: Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia and the United Kingdom. Its focus was the role of higher-education institutions in continuing professional development (CPD) for preschool teachers, including learning hubs in Serbia and Montenegro.

The project, its two publication dates and this independent edition are separate points in time.

Reading the dates

The Vršac institutional report places the start in academic year 2018/19. The 2022 guidance describes the project period as 2018–2022 and notes an extension connected with the pandemic. A report written before completion and an end-of-project book therefore describe different moments. Neither an old upload folder nor the date of an archive capture establishes when a project began.

Objectives and work packages

The documented work links a comparative review of CPD systems, the establishment of learning hubs, course development, quality assurance and accreditation-model work. The practical emphasis was on connecting professional learning with needs identified by educators and institutions. For reported outputs, see Documented outputs.

These themes help explain the old navigation labels “Objectives”, “Work packages” and “Project relevance”. They are a summary of the published account, not recovered copies of the original pages. Chapter 1 of the 2022 guidance is the fuller source.

Historical activities and news

Archived homepages list institutional meetings, seminars and conferences during the project. The later Serbian homepage also lists a final conference and new publications. These are historical navigation records. This edition does not announce new events, reopen bookings or certify attendance.

To examine dated notices in their original context, consult archived Serbian project homepage or the institution that issued the notice. A capture date records when a page was archived, not necessarily when an event took place.

Documents, media and procurement

The old site included presentations, event materials, media, consortium documents and procurement notices. Those categories do not establish that their files may be republished. This edition provides documented publication access and the institutional sources; it does not recreate a private consortium workspace or an active procurement service.

Archived photographs are not reproduced. For event photographs or presentation rights, approach the originating institution. Original editorial diagrams on this site are separate from the historical media collection.

Old procurement headings refer to concluded project activity. No tender is open through this edition. Requirements, awards and deadlines must be checked in the issuing institution’s own historical records.
